WhatsApp is a popular messaging app. It is a platform where everyone is connected to their circle through messages. In simple words it has become a necessity of the people in today's time. Some people also operate their business through this app, due to which they also share their personal or bank related information to other people. 

But perhaps these people do not know that WhatsApp accounts are also hacked. In which the hackers can clear your account by accessing the information you have shared on the media. So keep in mind that you should never share any such information from mobile. Apart from this, you can protect your WhatsApp account by keeping these things in mind.

This function is present in both iOS and Android phones. To activate this 2 step verification, first of all you go to the settings menu of your WhatsApp. Select Settings> Accounts> 2 Step Verification> Enable. After this process you have to set a PIN in it. Which only WhatsApp user knows. Whenever you get a message from an unknown number and ask for an OTP or verification code from you. So do not forget to share any information on it. Block such number immediately. Follow this process to block the contact. Contact Name> Scroll Down> Click on Block Contact.

With the help of this option, your details are not visible to anyone who is not included in your contact list. To enable this function - Settings menu> Click on privacy option> Change profile photo option to my contacts> Change about to my contacts> Change group to my contacts> Change status to my contacts.

If you login to your WhatsApp account on any device other than your phone, do not forget to log out of WhatsApp after you finish your work. When logged in, someone else can easily access your information.
